Great experience.
Overall great experience. I needed to move to another state.  The time period was somewhat short.  I interviewed 3 carriers and chose Rose Moving.  The initial quote did not change, instead I received a refund. Beverly was my coordinator.  She was great. She kept me abreast of all that was happening.  The loaders arrived on time and were efficient and professional. The driver maintained contact from the road and arrived on time at my destination.  The off-loaders he used were so great that I plan to use them in a couple of months for my local move.

Perfect move
My experience with Rose moving/Allied was easily the best move i have had out of 5 moves.  My salesman, Jim S.  was professional and very knowlagable about every aspect of my move.  The crew that moved my belongings were also great.  They wrapped all my furniture, protected my floors and walls at both homes.  Not a scratch on anything.  The office at Rose was great anytime I need anything.  If I move again it will be with Rose/Allied. And to top it off, my price reduced about 200.00.

Rose moved us from Michigan to Las Vegas.
They were great. They are responsible for my continuing service with Angie's List. We had never had a big move prior and this was a really good experience.

Antrim (Get Movers Prices for Antrim, MI) is a county in the U.S. state of Michigan. As of the 2010 census, the population was 23,580. The county seat is Bellaire (Bellaire, Michigan Moving). The name is taken from County Antrim in Northern Ireland. Antrim was originally named Meegisee (meaning "eagle"), which was the name of a Chippewa chief who signed the 1821 Treaty of Chicago and the 1826 Treaty of Mississinwas. The name Antrim was one of five Irish or Scots Irish names given to renamed counties in 1843, supposedly in deference to the increasing number of settlers of Irish and Scots Irish heritage in Michigan at that time. In the text of the 1843 legislative act, the name was misspelled as "Antim". YMCA Camp Hayo-Went-Ha, the oldest American summer camp that sits on its original site, occupies about one square mile on the shore of Torch Lake in Central Lake (Central Lake, Michigan Moving Reviews). Boys first attended Hayo-Went-Ha (variant of Hiawatha) in 1904.

Geography

  • According to the 2000 census, the county has a total area of 601.90 square miles (1,558.9 km2), of which 476.94 square miles (1,235.3 km2) (or 79.24%) is land and 124.97 square miles (323.7 km2) (or 20.76%) is water.
  • The county is considered to be part of Northern Michigan.

Glaciers shaped the area, creating a unique regional ecosystem. A large portion of the area is the so-called Grayling (Grayling, Michigan Movers) outwash plain, which consists of broad outwash plain including sandy ice-disintegration ridges; jack pine barrens, some white pine-red pine forest, and northern hardwood forest. Large lakes were created by glacial action.

Government

The county government operates the jail, maintains rural roads, operates the major local courts, keeps files of deeds and mortgages, maintains vital records, administers public health regulations, and participates with the state in the provision of welfare and other social services. The county board of commissioners controls the budget but has only limited authority to make laws or ordinances. In Michigan, most local government functions — police and fire, building and zoning, tax assessment, street maintenance, etc. — are the responsibility of individual cities and townships.
