Great experience.
Overall great experience. I needed to move to another state.  The time period was somewhat short.  I interviewed 3 carriers and chose Rose Moving.  The initial quote did not change, instead I received a refund. Beverly was my coordinator.  She was great. She kept me abreast of all that was happening.  The loaders arrived on time and were efficient and professional. The driver maintained contact from the road and arrived on time at my destination.  The off-loaders he used were so great that I plan to use them in a couple of months for my local move.

You will NOT be disappointed!
I recently worked with Rose Moving and Storage via the Allied Van Lines network.  Jim Stafford was my estimator for a move from MI to TX and he was thorough courteous and professional.  Even though I chose the price guarantee, his estimate was very close to actual and I had no hidden fees or charges throughout the move. Judy, my move coordinator was also very helpful and kept the lines of communication constantly open for any questions I had.

The real gem in the whole transaction, however, was the driver.  Tom moved my entire house from MI to TX and he was INCREDIBLE!  He was very friendly, efficient and punctual, showing up EARLY for both the loading and unloading.  I had over 100 boxes and a lot of very large/heavy furniture that had to make the move to an apartment AND storage unit in TX.  Not only was he able to get to TX and deliver things earlier than originally estimated (YAY!) but EVERYTHING survived the move with ZERO damage.  If you've ever moved across the country, you should know how rare this is.  Tom called me multiple times to provide updates on his progress and made sure I was comfortable with the move every step of the way.  I would highly recommend Rose to anyone who is looking to move a long distance.  Request Tom as your driver if he is available -- you will not be disappointed!

THIS COMPANY MOVED MY FURNITURE AND BOXES TO MY NEW PLACE.
THEY WERE VERY PUNCTUAL AND RESPONSIVE TO THE DATE WE SET FOR THE MOVE. THEY DID A PROFESSIONAL JOB LOADING AND UNLOADING MY FURNITURE AND BOXES. I WOULD DEFINITELY USE THEM AGAIN BECAUSE NOTHING WAS DAMAGED.

Brownstown Charter (Brownstown Charter, MI Moving) is a charter township of Wayne (Wayne, MI Relocation Company) in the U.S. state of Michigan. The population was 30,627 at the 2010 census.

It is part of the collection of communities known as Downriver. Brownstown (Get Move Prices for Brownstown, MI)'s three separate segments are due to the incorporation of the cities of Flat Rock, Rockwood, and Woodhaven in the early 1960s.

History

Kurtzhals Farms

The region now known as Brownstown (Get Move Prices for Brownstown, MI) was, like surrounding areas in Michigan, once a part of the French Province Quebec. The area eventually fell into hands of the British and finally came under American rule in the 18th century. The original 43-square-mile (110 km2) area of land south of Detroit was designated a township by the Michigan Territorial Commission on April 5, 1827, when Moses Roberts was elected its first supervisor. This made Brownstown one of Wayne (Wayne, MI Relocation Company)'s nine original townships.

Legend holds that the township was named for Ada (Ada, MI Moving Companies)m Brown, who was kidnapped by the Wyandot Indians. Brown was raised by the Wyandots, married a native woman and grew to become a tribal leader. As time passed, settlements spread out from the lakeshore to begin changing the swampy, sand-hill countryside into productive farm land. Established in 1893 Kurtzhals Farm is one of the largest remaining farms in the township.
