Fantastic Move
I was in the military for 21 years and worked for 20 years after, moving 6 times. By far the best move was done recently for us by Rose from Michigan and Tucson,AZ. From the time the Rose sales rep,Mike, arrived and planned the moves, we knew we were in for great service. We also had two small loads to our kids in Canada and Virginia. All three packing and pick ups were on time and done to perfection. The main load to AZ packing was really professional, the packers courteous, friendly, and meticulous with expert packing skills. Upon arrival in AZ(we had a door to door move) the unloaded the truck in record time, loaded the large large cartons we unpacked immediately, and placed furniture in the places we wanted. I have been unpacking for a week and everything came through in great condition,no breakage. We could NOT have asked for better. And thru the entire process the move coordinator at Rose,Beverly, did a superb job of keeping us informed and checking to see that all was well. CHOSE ROSE MOVING,no one can do better.

You will NOT be disappointed!
I recently worked with Rose Moving and Storage via the Allied Van Lines network.  Jim Stafford was my estimator for a move from MI to TX and he was thorough courteous and professional.  Even though I chose the price guarantee, his estimate was very close to actual and I had no hidden fees or charges throughout the move. Judy, my move coordinator was also very helpful and kept the lines of communication constantly open for any questions I had.

The real gem in the whole transaction, however, was the driver.  Tom moved my entire house from MI to TX and he was INCREDIBLE!  He was very friendly, efficient and punctual, showing up EARLY for both the loading and unloading.  I had over 100 boxes and a lot of very large/heavy furniture that had to make the move to an apartment AND storage unit in TX.  Not only was he able to get to TX and deliver things earlier than originally estimated (YAY!) but EVERYTHING survived the move with ZERO damage.  If you've ever moved across the country, you should know how rare this is.  Tom called me multiple times to provide updates on his progress and made sure I was comfortable with the move every step of the way.  I would highly recommend Rose to anyone who is looking to move a long distance.  Request Tom as your driver if he is available -- you will not be disappointed!

Rose moved us from Michigan to Las Vegas.
They were great. They are responsible for my continuing service with Angie's List. We had never had a big move prior and this was a really good experience.

Greenville (Get Moves Estimate for Greenville, MI) is a city in Montcalm (Montcalm, MI Moving Company) of the U.S. state of Michigan. Portions of the county are associated with the Western region while others are more closely associated with the Central Michigan region. The population was 8,481 at the 2010 census. Greenville residents can commute to jobs in the nearby Grand Rapids metro area.

History

Greenville is named after its founder, John Green, who settled in the wilderness of the southwest part of the Montcalm (Montcalm, MI Relocation) in 1844. John Green constructed a sawmill on the Flat River that is credited for attracting other settlers. The newly formed Green's Village attracted many people of Danish origin who followed another early Danish settler's positive letters home regarding the area. Because of the town's heritage, Greenville celebrates the Danish Festival every year on the third weekend of August. A post office was established on January 20, 1848, with Abel French as the first postmaster. John Green had the village platted in 1853 and it was a station on the Detroit, Grand Rapids and Western Railroad. Greenville incorporated as a village in 1867 and as a city in 1871.

Hendrik Meijer, founder of Meijer's stores, moved to Greenville (Get Relocation Prices for Greenville, MI) after immigrating to the USA from the Netherlands. He was initially a barber, but the Great Depression and lack of a proper grocery on his side of town led him to open his own store in 1934. Meijer's corporation now operates stores throughout the Midwest. Hendrik's son Fred Meijer, principal architect of the modern Meijer chain, is a native son.

Greenville (Get Relocation Prices for Greenville, MI) is also home to the Fighting Falcon, the lead plane of a wave of gliders during Operation Overlord. The Falcon was purchased with funds raised by the school children of the town, and was designated the lead aircraft in recognition of this achievement.

Since the foundation of Ranney Refrigerator Co. in 1892, the town has been known as the "Refrigerator Capital of the World." It has also been home to the Gibson, White Consolidated, Frigidaire, and until recently, the Electrolux refrigerator factory. Electrolux closed the Greenville (Get Moves Prices for Greenville, MI) facility in early 2006, as it was in the process of relocating the factory to Ciudad Juárez in Mexico. This move by a profitable factory impacted 2,700 employees and their families.

The city was to become the epicenter of "green" technology with the addition of solar panel manufacturer United Solar Ovonic; however, that enterprise has filed for bankruptcy. It is also home to the brand-new manufacturing and design center of Northland Marvel, an undercounter refrigeration company that just became a part of the UK-based AgaRangemaster group.

Lafayette Street, the downtown district, was placed on the National and State Register of Historic Sites in November 2008.
