My move couldn't have gone smoother.
You want your stuff moved quickly, efficiently and safely?  Better contact Allied.  They gave me all the boxes, paper and wardrobes I needed to move 1400 miles from Michigan to Florida. Movers (Brian and Glenn) showed up on time and did all the work.  They gave me a date for delivery and I drove to my new location.  Everything arrived on the day promised and they loaded it all into a storage unit so I just pick up a few boxes a day. They also set up the king size bed and moved all the furniture to the exact location I wanted. Erica and Beverly always kept me informed as to my move status. Movers were a crew of two.  Never saw anybody work that hard on both ends of the move. Thought about using those giant pods until I found out the cost AND that I would have to load and unload it. Couldn't be happier with the move and I won't miss the snow.

Fantastic Move
I was in the military for 21 years and worked for 20 years after, moving 6 times. By far the best move was done recently for us by Rose from Michigan and Tucson,AZ. From the time the Rose sales rep,Mike, arrived and planned the moves, we knew we were in for great service. We also had two small loads to our kids in Canada and Virginia. All three packing and pick ups were on time and done to perfection. The main load to AZ packing was really professional, the packers courteous, friendly, and meticulous with expert packing skills. Upon arrival in AZ(we had a door to door move) the unloaded the truck in record time, loaded the large large cartons we unpacked immediately, and placed furniture in the places we wanted. I have been unpacking for a week and everything came through in great condition,no breakage. We could NOT have asked for better. And thru the entire process the move coordinator at Rose,Beverly, did a superb job of keeping us informed and checking to see that all was well. CHOSE ROSE MOVING,no one can do better.

My move with Rose moving was the best…
My move with Rose moving was the best move i have had. Having moved twice before with North American and Bekins, there was no comparison. My salesman, Jim Stafford was professional and very knowlagable. He came back to home twice to make sure we had an accurate quote. He was very patient with my long list of questions. They were not the cheapest mover by far but, I have learned the hard way, that you get what you pay for in this industry. Steve K(the driver) and his guys protected my home like it was their own. My furniture was wrapped before it left my house. Not a scratch on anything. To top it off Rose sent in a cleaning crew after the loading process. The office at Rose was great with any questions that I had. If I move from Chicago it will be with Rose Moving. They are true professionals. Thank again Rose, I will refer you to anyone I know moving!!!!!!

Bordering on Detroit with frontage on southern Lake Saint Clair, it is the westernmost of the noted Grosse Pointe suburbs, with the oldest overall housing stock of the five cities. Grosse Pointe Park (Get Moves Cost for Grosse Pointe Park, MI) is 6 miles (9.7 km) east of downtown Detroit and thus is home to many who commute to the city on a daily basis.

Geography

According to the United States Census Bureau, the city has a total area of 3.71 square miles (9.61 km2), of which, 2.17 square miles (5.62 km2) is land and 1.54 square miles (3.99 km2) is water. The Buck-Wardwell House on Jefferson Avenue, built in 1840, as the first brick house in Grosse Pointe (Grosse Pointe, Michigan Moving Company)

The neighborhoods in Grosse Pointe Park (Get Relocation Quote for Grosse Pointe Park, MI) are built on a standard grid street pattern which flows out of Detroit, and housing ranges from tightly-packed single- and multi-family brick houses, often rentals, on the far west side of the Park, to rows of traditionally-styled single family homes generally averaging over 3,000 square feet (280 m2), to multi-million dollar mansions, some of which are found on the lakeshore. The west side of the city features mixed-use neighborhoods, where retail, schools, and churches are within close walking distance. The rest of the city is basically residential, but at the eastern edge residents are in close walking distance to "the Village" shopping district in Grosse Pointe (Grosse Pointe, Michigan Movers). Many of the houses in the Park were built prior to World War II, and many of these were designed by noted architects using the finest materials. Windmill Pointe Drive, and streets such as Bishop, Kensington, Yorkshire, Edgemont Park, Three Mile Drive, Devonshire, Buckingham, Berkshire, Balfour, and Nottingham among others, each have dozens of large, architecturally significant homes. These mansions and mini-manses were often placed on large lots which were often split up, the result being that some post-war ranch style homes are mixed in with homes of traditional design.

Grosse Pointe Park (Get Move Quote for Grosse Pointe Park, MI) includes a large neighborhood located on Windmill Pointe, a once-swampy piece of land roughly south of Jefferson Avenue, the edge of which marks the entrance to the Detroit River and the end of Lake St. Clair. A large lakefront park with a pool, gym, movie theatre, and gathering spaces for residents only is found at this spot. At the base of the point, at the foot of Three Mile Drive, is another large park, Patterson Park, which is known for its skating rink and walking trails. One way that people distinguish geography in Grosse Pointe Park (Get Relocation Estimate for Grosse Pointe Park, MI) is by location north or south of Jefferson Avenue, the south side being generalized as Windmill Pointe.

Grosse Pointe Park, along with Grosse Pointe and Grosse Pointe Farms (Grosse Pointe Farms, MI Relocation Company), is in the Grosse Pointe South High School district. There are two Grosse Pointe Public School System elementary schools in the Park, Defer and Trombly Schools, in addition to one middle school: Pierce Middle School. The eastern Park is also served by Maire Elementary in Grosse Pointe in the Village district. Then serves the one high school, South High School off Fisher Road. There is one private school in the Park, the K-8 St. Clare of Montefalco Catholic School on Charlevoix and Audubon streets.
