Where Rose Moves To
Intrastate
Intrastate moves don't cross Michigan state lines, but the distance is more than 40 miles. Rates charged by movers in Michigan are regulated by the MPSC for all intrastate moves.
Interstate
Any move that crosses a state boundary, regardless of the number of miles, is considered an interstate move.
Because no move is the same, we offer a variety of household moving services to help make your move as easy and stress free as possible.
Loading
Each of your belongings is labeled, inventoried and loaded. Before being loaded, all upholstered furniture is wrapped in a strong plastic that completely covers the furniture and protects it from dirt and damage.
Transportation
All of our trucks are driven by professional household movers. Our trailers are equipped with air-ride suspension systems to ensure your possessions travel in the safest manner possible.
Unloading
Upon arrival, our household movers will properly protect your home. All inventoried items will be unloaded and placed in the assigned rooms. We then will re-assemble them.

If you need special moving services, we’ve got you covered.
Unpacking
Boxes are opened and contents are placed on a flat surface. Removal of boxes and packing material is included within this optional service.
Crating
Consider custom crating to protect fragile or non-standard sized belongings. High-value items worth crating include artwork, electronic equipment or delicate collectibles.
Cars/Boats
Transporting larger items such as cars and boats can be included in your household moving services. Depending on size, the items will either be protected and placed in the truck with the rest of your belongings or placed in another vehicle.
Outside Services
Upon request, third party services can be arranged for you. This can include cleaning, disconnecting and reconnecting appliances, hot tubs or surround sound systems as well as disassembling and reassembling such things as gaming tables, swing sets, and exercise equipment in your new home.
Shuttle Services
If access to your home is difficult because of a narrow driveway or obstruction, our household movers will provide a small truck to transport your belongings between your home and the semi-truck.
Storage
If needed, we can provide short term or long term storage.
Great move from MI to SC. Rose/Allied was the best price vs Mayflower and United. Salesman Jim Stafford was friendly and helpful, estimated our total weight to within 300 lbs! The driver/crew chief who did our move was Billy and we can’t say enough good thing about him. Very professional and courteous, hard-working, and very careful with our belongings. We had them pack too and they are super cautious and expert packers. Moving is such a pain - but Billy made it as stress-free as possible. I give them my highest recommendation!
